EFT stands for "Emotional Freedom Techniques" and is proving to be a powerful stress relieving tool. Clinical research confirms that emotional trauma is greatly responsible for it's contribution to "dis-ease". Studies show that EFT, also known as tapping, is a fast acting approach to healing thy self from emotional traumas. Tapping acts as a pressure valve for the built up tension in the body. Once we open the (valve) meridian pathways, the body is able to figuratively "let off steam" in order to reduce and oftentimes, remove what we call stress.

Emotional Freedom Technique is derived from the energy psychology field and can be practiced by anyone; practitioner and layman alike. The application of acupressure points, by way of tapping with one's own fingertips, is the basic mechanical process. It is encouraging to know that various peer reviewed medical journals have published over one-hundred papers, also counting many clinical trials and have determined that EFT is effective for anxiety, depression, PTSD, physical pains, phobias and countless other obstacles.
